A trading house for watches, not a marketplace.

Uhrenkontor is a platform of Solidas GmbH, a Swiss company based in the canton of Schwyz. We buy luxury watches from private owners and companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and sell selected pieces from our own stock.

The idea behind it is simple. Anyone selling a fine watch should get the best price without having to deal with marketplaces, shipping and haggling. So we pool the demand: more than 25 dealers in Switzerland value every watch submitted through Uhrenkontor. The highest bid is passed on to you as a binding offer.

Discretion is part of the business. Dealers receive watch data and photos, never contact details. There are no public listings, and the handover takes place in person at a location you choose. Payment follows the inspection, in cash, by bank transfer or by Twint.

We trade in Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Söhne, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Breguet, Hublot, Richard Mille, Tudor, Breitling, Panerai, Zenith and comparable manufacturers.

Everything works in English. A number of our sellers live in Zurich, Zug or Basel without speaking German, and that has never been an obstacle.
